Reflections on Facebook

In the beginning was the Word, so, the virtual precedes the reality…
We could thus create a better world
Beginning on facebook, for example
But we have chose to foreshadow hells domesticated
The Internet becomes as on earth so in heaven, not vice versa
What would mean a better world?
Let’s say, one in which we not exorcise the good, but the evil in us…

The way I see myself – Come mi vedo – Cum mă văd

I look at the clock, its dial is the death’s dish
Through the concave glass I stare at the old people who … will be me
I see my lost loves traveling in the opposite direction like old ladies… today they’re
Beauty buds trembling under t-shirts
I will be rotten rich…. Or maybe, just rotten
I will look through glasses to yesterday in un-winded clocks
And it will snow in the death’s bowl the bone flour of a century to which
I brought my contribution with a half a forehead, a skinny finger
Pointing to mirrors always dirty,
I have nothing left from my lost loves
Nothing but this clock – no, don’t look at it, I don’t want you to see yourself
The way I see myself

A famous politician killed himself in public
for shame of… having lied to his electorate
having caused irreparable damages to his country through the decisions that he had signed
.
A businessman followed his example
because of the too many deceptions hidden in commercials
that made him aberrantly rich…
.
A corrupted civil servant chewed up his veins
in a complete crisis of conscience
the unfairness of his work-un-worked had defeated him

A cellar man drowned in the keg he had filled his whole life with… nothing more than water
A judge passed judgment on himself for perjury …
A cellarman drowned in the keg he had filled his whole life with … water

Actors, athletes, started turning down millions..
to donate it to hunger on the planet..
Doctors and pharmacists stopped dealing and cheating…

Romanians will be born
Like a never ending curse. Their life, a poem –
By clandestine pairs

The rhyme of those left at home
This sort of wound, a Wall forever lacking an Ana*
For those who leave their country

The verb of humbleness bakes
Flawless Europes. Romanians born prematurely
Will bring upon justice

A deeper meaning under the word is resting
It’s as old as time, be aware. Another continent is rising
Knowing of… God Forbid

Romanians will be born wherever,
Wherever, they feel home. The cradle of the world is pressing
In the Carpatians where its beginning hides
.
A poem obscure to him who is …. Not empty of not living…

Come, my son, birth and death are not democratic,
Nor stories, life is merely a sort of tourism, death a slumber…
So, you can’t choose, can’t either rely on apparent coincidences..
Come, you’ll receive your right to a slice of the air, of the sun, of the soil
Through heredity you’ll get only the burdens of you future…
You’ll visit this sublime land of sufferance,
You will be taught according to the norms of major interests
Your smile is already listed on the stock exchange, you already have debts
You will be able to be what you want if
You’ll know how to see the deceit of waiting, of your own goals
Among the lies of global promises
If you are human, above anything else, and you find answers to no matter what questions only in your life burnt heart
Because you have to learn on your own…
